Thanks for your comment. My inspiration comes from all over, from friends and many people I meet sometimes strangers, but in particular right now I would cite the following: many artists and activists from Alternate ROOTS; Guillermo Gomez-Pena; John Jordan... Ah, it's hard to start listing, I feel there could be thousands of names or I could just say that every encounter influences us in some way. Which sounds somewhat trite but is also so true, the many people who remind you why life is worth living and why it's important to work creatively.
As for a recipe, that's hard as my 'cultural heritage' is India but I'm from England. However, one of my favourite dishes is Muttar Paneer. If there was any way that this could be made without cow's milk (which I am allergic to) then this would indeed be a dream gift of a dish! There's your first challenge...
