Hey, Gillian --yeap, Sunday was soo cool. Thanks so much for ushering me in.

Guess what: I saw your professor today. You should stop by and say hello, ask her to recommend readings for the summer; just so you keep in touch. :) She's awesome.

Hi there, yes I am allergic to all cheeses made from cow's milk. But cheeses from sheep or goat's milk are fine! Thanks.

I look forward to meeting you. Will you be at the performance today at the Navy Yard?

Hi Gillian
Thanks for your comment. My inspiration comes from all over, from friends and many people I meet sometimes strangers, but in particular right now I would cite the following: many artists and activists from Alternate ROOTS; Guillermo Gomez-Pena; John Jordan... Ah, it's hard to start listing, I feel there could be thousands of names or I could just say that every encounter influences us in some way. Which sounds somewhat trite but is also so true, the many people who remind you why life is worth living and why it's important to work creatively.

As for a recipe, that's hard as my 'cultural heritage' is India but I'm from England. However, one of my favourite dishes is Muttar Paneer. If there was any way that this could be made without cow's milk (which I am allergic to) then this would indeed be a dream gift of a dish! There's your first challenge...

I look forward to meeting you.

I work around food BUT as G&M will tell u im no recipe dude. If anything I'd be the ambient guy, setting the tone of comfort for everyone to have a ball at the dinner. My cultural contribution would be my favorite meal at the cafe, though we have a wide array of dishes. A double dog on baggette with french cheese that the cook picks for me and a bowl of fruit xtra peanuts and pine'apple. as u know we have steroids ha ha very large carrot cake with must have icing. If any parts of that meal is at the dinner then a great future would be on the table and in my belly. In a nutshell though my recipe is food and open mic.

Neat. I think Contemporary art is the most exciting. I like object
based pieces but seem to be more drawn to performance these days.
