Comment by Delphine Ziegler - Table of Ice / Alluvions Glacées on May 2, 2008 at 6:12am - These clips taken for TABLE OF ICE show some of the experimentsations that we did on the frozen Doubs River with the stools. You can hear the voice of Franzisca Baumann, the ice percussions of Le Quan Ninh and the manipulation of the stools by Thierry Madiot -- used not just for sitting... but also as sources of sound. It is through such moments of improvisation and interaction/play between the participating artists in the particular conditions of this site in winter time that evolved our project TABLE OF ICE.
